I was rudely awakened bright and early this morning, it was my day off and at 09:30(ish) Tim chirped up “Come on chubs, we’re going for a ski”, I moaned and groaned for fifteen or so minutes before sliding out of bed and checking the super clear skies from the window, it was camera time.
I was shooting at the top of the Harmony chair with Aideen today, and it was cold. Temperature was twenty below and winds were in the region of 60kph according to the guys at work, after an hour in the 2118m freezer we skied down the mountain in search of a nicer location to shoot.
After yet another late night I rolled up to work at 0900 to see what time my first snowmobile tour was leaving, I had two hours to waste so I went for a walk round town with my camera and spotted this Subaru.
I really need to get out of my day to day routines in order to get some new shots.
Late, and not a shot from yesterday strictly speaking but I found the memory card it was stored on last night, making this post totally acceptable.
Been for a big ski today with Trab, been hopping and jibbing everything in sight, looking super gnarly with our pants round our ankles. Then once I could no longer stay at the peril of my boots we came home and relaxed.
Really annoyed how flat this light is, I should have popped it at serious boost but hey.
Happy new year all! Starting off todays post with a shot of my studio. This is the Whistler mountain peak, where on Thursday I spent the entire day taking epic portraits with people from all over the world, great fun.
